What you should know about Kates Riding Centre
As a child, she represented Bay of Islands and Northland at Timberlands and in 1993 travelled to the USA where she taught horsemanship in Maine. On returning to New Zealand, Kate continued her successful eventing career, with successes at Advanced level eventing in Kihikihi and Puhunui. Her eventing success acclaimed her national recognition and lead to many owners requesting her to train and compete their horses to top level. Aboard Jos Bayly's 'World Wide Wonder Stallion Internet Kate was 15th at Bton, 7th at Burghley and 5th at the British Open Championships winning a Trophy for best placed youngest horse.
With a lifetime of experience in horsemanship Tim is a valuable source of information on all topics relating to schooling and starting horses and barefoot trimming. Tim keeps busy starting and schooling horses, running clinics both locally and in Cambridge, Rotorua and Tauranga and also does a monthly hoof trimming round in these areas. Vicky is our chief handy man and farm manager who has been with us since 2009. She has five years dairy farm management and five years building industry experience
