Our Phoenix Red self contained apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the second with 2 singles. Accommodation at Cable Bay, in pristine Doubtless Bay, 1 hour north of the Bay of Islands. You would really appreciate driving the family to Cape Reinga, The Birthplace of the Nation, driving in a unused fab 4 4 vehicle seats up to 7! Drive up the state Highway 10, visit Cape Reinga, arrive back to Te Saki Stream and DRIVE DOWN THE QUICKSAND RIVER behind taboganning down the huge sand dunes and along the length of 90 Mile Beach. Had the pastime of staying 2 nights in the Sunshine Suite which was a chance to get away from the city and enjoy the beauty of Doubtless Bay. Outstanding beach spot with access to sea about 20 steps away, Awesome Bach with all the facilities you need for a holiday at the beach.
The bathroom is reminiscent of a five star hotel even has heated towel rack. Loved the Bach feel reminded me of childhood summer holidays in the 70's retro furniture and decor with all fresh comforts. Catch a fish, stroll down the golden sand of Cable Bay or simply relax on the deck.
