End month we completed our 2. 5 week adventure around the South Island in a Bay of Island Explorer camper van and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Rob and Nick run an excellent camper van rental service from the Bay of Islands. White Island offers arguably the superior geothermal experience in New Zealand and should be a must do’ for visitors planning their travels around the North Island.
